ABSTRACT
Tax incentives are the encouragement given to firms in form of relief The scheme is a strong fiscal measure which can stimulate investment and savings leading to capital formulation. This capital formed can be used productively resulting to economic and industrial development. Therefore, this study focuses on how these tax incentives can affect growth of manufacturing firms, and to ascertain if individual firms actually decided to go into business because of incentives offered to them. The method of data collection in the research is through primary and secondary sources. The primary data are raw data collected directly from questionnaire distributed and interviews conducted. The secondary data were obtained from an intensive review of related literatures. The survey research design was used for the work. The sample technique adopted for this work is the non-probability sample technique. The hypothesis was tested using the simple regression method of analysis and the result of the analysis revealed that there exist a positive relationship between efficient tax incentive scheme and the firm's growth.
