ABSTRACT

This research work focused on the effect of job satisfaction on organizational effectiveness, A case study of Nigerian Bottling Company Aba, Abia State. The main objective of this study is to examine the effect of job satisfaction and to investigate whether the application of this style can lead to positive relationship with organizational effectiveness and increase in productivity. The problem addressed showed that employers who are less satisfied are sluggish in the organizational performance. There are various factors that satisfies an employee such us uge, sex, education etc. In this study the population used was 660 workers and sample size drawn was 250 workers. The researchers adopted a descriptive research design in the analysis of data sourced with a highly structured questionnaire. The responses from questionnaire was analysed using Pearson correlation technique and descriptive method. The findings of the study reveals that job satisfaction end job motivation have a positive significant effect on organizational effectiveness, while staff turnover has a negative relationship with organizational effectiveness. The study therefore recommends that organizations adopt employee welfare strategies that will boost the morale of organizational workjorce, also, organizations policies on hire and fire or workers should be reconsidered.
