Effect Of Inventory Management On Corporate Performance Of Firms In Nigeria (A Study Of Nigerian Breweries Plc) (2014- 2018).

ABSTRACT

This study examines Inventory control and Cooperate performance using Nigeria Breweries Plc for study. There has been inefficiency and uncharted inconsistent to address challenges associated with Inventory control. The main objectives of this study is to assess the effect of inventory Management on Corporate Performance of Firms in Nigeria. The study employed ex-post facto research design where data was sourced secondary from annual reports of Nigeria Brewery thus this study is set to ascertain the relationship between Inventory Management and cooperate performance of Nigeria Breweries Firms of Nigeria from 2014 - 2018. It was surrogated by return of assets, firms' turnover and profit be/ore tax of a firm while cooperate performance was used as a parameters of measuring Inventory management. This study recommended amongst others that brewery firm's management should emphasis on the proper inventory management techniques and measuring of efficiency deviations to identify weaknesses in the process of managing inventories.
