Effect Of Government Expenditure On Economic Growth Of Nigeria

ABSTRACT

The study about Flect of government expenditure on economic growth of Nigeria' was to discover if increase in Government expenditure affects the growth of Nigeria and to know the contribution of government expenditure on the economic growth of Nigeria. Its objective is to determine whether government expenditure ailed the standard of living of Nigeria economy. In the cause of this study secondary data was used to SOUFCC the desired information. It was analyzed using multiple regression and correlation analysis. The research discovers that government should engage in more capital expenditure that arc profitably in other to improve the standard of living of the country. From the research carried out shows that there is a significant effect of government capital expenditure on the economic growth of Nigeria. And that recurrent expenditure has no significant elicit on economic growth of Nigeria.
