Abstract

The rapid growth of the telecommunications industry demands efficient tools for monitoring and optimizing network coverage. This research focuses on the development of a Signal Strength Mapping System designed to accurately capture, analyze, and visualize cellular network signal distribution in real time. The system integrates GPS-based geolocation with signal measurement algorithms to generate high-resolution coverage maps, enabling telecom operators to identify weak-signal zones, optimize base station placement, and improve overall service quality. The implementation leverages mobile data acquisition devices, database storage, and visualization software to process large datasets efficiently. Key features include automated data logging, spatial interpolation for coverage prediction, and userfriendly interfaces for both field engineers and decision-makers. The results demonstrate that the system enhances operational efficiency, reduces maintenance costs, and supports data-driven network optimization strategies. This work provides a scalable and adaptable solution for modern telecom infrastructures, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and competitive advantage in the industry
