The general aim of this work is to ensure increase security and reliability in the voting process. This automated system implemented with JAVA and on Windows XP operating system platform involves three major aspect of election which includes; Registration, Voting and Result. The registration is designed to enable voters within an age grade to be registered and obtain an Identity number for the voting exercise. The voting is securely implemented to checkmate recasting of votes thereby reducing rigging of election. The result is always displayed at every pooling station for the voter's consent. Sample outputs of the new system are on the appendix. This system if adopted will reduce INEC manual system problem to the minimum.
