ABSTRACT

This project work, Design and Implementation of Student Registration Data Management System using Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike as a case study is centered, on a web based computerized mechanism of keeping the student records in an effective data management system. These project work, makes it clear to understand the importance of data management system in keeping in the records of the student. The aim is also, to develop a systematic and procedural student registration portal according to the school system in checking of the number of students admitted into the institution and also keeping records of the older student. As a web based application, the project was designed with ASP.NET with C# Programming Language and MS-SQL Server 2000 as the database in designing, coding and developing the system software package that will keep track of all the student records. It will also help the school management in handling all complicities and abnormalities in the school, which the staff and bursar administrators will find their job at ease, and even the student will as well follow the school procedural registration process online successful.
