ABSTRACT
Cassava, being an important food in Nigeria and Africa at large, therefore need to develop an efficient cassava peeling machine for mass production of cassava roots and to enable exporting and producing enough for consumption. Cassava is a multipurpose crop that serves as source of food for man, animals and raw materials for industry. The cassava peeling machine consists of the peeling drum (has both knife and abrasive imbedded in it), the conveyor, electric motor and speed reducer.
