ABSTRACT

This project presents the design and construction of a television signal preamplifier with a very high frequency of 54-216 MHz that has 12 channels, and ultra high frequency of 470-806 MFIz that has 56 channels assigned to it. The designs project makes use of AM modulator, FM modulator, mixer, oscillator and filtering unit to enhance a better performance of the circuit. In this project, when a television program is broadcast, the varying signal can be amplified and used to modulate a carrier wave. The output can he transmitted to power amplifier to drive an antenna and the signal can cover up to 30 inches. The project serves as an input to transmit signals on a television set that has no AV input, while radio frequency (RF) is used for searching of signals on a television set.
