Benefit Of Computerized Accounting System As A Fraud Reduction Techniques In The Banking Sector (A Case Study Of First Bank Umuahia, Abia State)

ABSTRACT

The research work examines the benefit of computerized accounting system as a fraud reduction technique in the banking sector with a particular reference to first bank of Nigeria plc, Umuahia Abia state. A well structured questionnaire was employed in the cause of gathering relevant data for the study and administered on 28 staff of First bank of Nigeria Plc. umuahia, Abia state. Simple percentage and simple ordinary least techniques were to analyze the data. The result revealed there is negative but, significant relationships between power supply, maintenance cost and computerized accounting system. It was recommendations that Government should take a critical attention to the power sector
