ABSTRACT

This year (2019) is one of the most memorable years in my life, a year marked with three important fruitful events. It is interesting to note that, this year clocked twenty five years (silver jubilee) of my academic career in Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Umuahia; forty years ofmy First Religious Profession in the Congregation ofthe Daughters of Divine Love and 8 years ot my elevation to the rank ofProfessor ofAnimal Physiology with specialization in Reproductive Physiology. For all these, I give glory to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen. What a day to celebrate! What ajoy to share my fruitfulness with all ofyou present in this auditorium! It is not by chance that a Reverend Sister ofthe Holy Roman Catholic Church should have a foundation in Animal Science and be the first Animal Physiologist employed by one ofthe foremost Universities ofAgriculture in Nigeria.
