ABSTRACT
The use ofcomputer has permeated almost every aspect ofhuman endeavor. Museums are buildings used for existing and storing object illustrating antiquities, natural history, art, science, etc. New specimen are added to old items are almost non- existence because ofpoor storage facilities and in them due to the manual procedure being used in searching for information. Primary data and questionnaire data gathered from respondent were used to design and developed the software. Finally the software were also designed and develop in Visual Basic 6.0 Version. The choice of Visual Basic 6.0 programming language environment was due to its flexibility, simplicity and user friendliness.
