ABSTRACT
The soil is the most important source of agricultural source. Most agricultural practices are carried out on the soil such practices include plant growth, irrigation etc. soils are known for their ability to filtrate and rectify pollutants but the large amounts of pollutants being discharged to the soil on daily basis surpass this capacity. Examples of such pollutants are acid, lead, pesticides, metals, sewage, brewery effluents and toxic metals.
