ABSTRACT

The concept of statistical quality control is one of the more useful tools o' production management. Therefore, this work is concerned with the .1 application of the statistical quality control techniques to a production process with a view of checking the defectives of Ma-fo Global Service Limited products a case study of Ma-fo-Global Services Limited Umuahia Abia State, if it is under control. The P-chart showed no significant change in the process production of defective products of Ma-fo Global Services Limited Umuahia Abia State sachet water. There was no significant change observed in the non-defective products except on the P-chart for January 2011 on daily basis and this was due to assignable cause which can be eliminated. As a result of absence of assignable cause of variation, the water is highly recommended for drinking.
