Application Of Management Audit As A Measure Of Enhancing Organisational Performance. (A Study Of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Aba)

ABSTRACT

The aim of the study is to highlight the application of Management Audit as a Measure to Enhance Organizational Performance, and to suggest ways and means by which this management audit can be more efficient i.e more fulfilling and satisfying in order to aid and elevate the growth of productivity in an organizational set up. Nigerian Breweries Plc is the study for this research work. The methodology adopted in this research work included questionnaires, personal interviews as well as material from journals, textbooks, project works and other reference manuals. The work commenced with a general introduction to Management Audit, statement of the problems, objectives of the study as well as its scope and limitations were also stated. Subsequently, a review of relevant literature on this project work was done. The revelation of this work was that the Application of Management Audit is a pre-requisite for smooth running of any organization. It can also yield a very positive result/profit when properly, effectively and efficiently implemented. Lastly some recommendation were made towards making the Application of Management Audit more effective. Continuous Periodic Statutory Audit should be given more attention. The powers and duties of the organization's Internal Audit Department should be reinforced for it to be more effective, among other recommendations.
