ABSTRACT
Science and technology has over the years provided us with some technological tools, which has made life very easy and enjoyable we are users of many tools. Sometimes we are almost helpless without them. In the past few decades, one tool has been developed that has greatly improved our ability to calculate, to store information, and to control process and transmit data over a long distance. This tool is the electronic computer, it has helped us to increase our knowledge by performing in seconds calculations that otherwise may take hours. All sector of the economy in Nigeria need to have a good knowledge of information technology (IT). In more recent years there have been major developments in IT (i e) the technologies associated with the creation, manipulation storage and communication of information principally computing telecommunication and electronics. The full potential of information technology could realized only when any entity in one part of the world can communicate with any other entity in another part of the world, Modern telecommunication network attempt to make this idea of universal connectivity a reality.
